How on earth
did we come to the point
of calling you dirty?
The soles of our feet
stranded away
in funny prisons manufactured
in disrooted buildings
cut off from the Real
and hypochondriacally clean
While I feel the cleanest touch on earth
is between your dirt
and our skin
And I know this touch
as the most luxurious portal
that stands thin
between the depth of me
and the depth of you.
