2021

This photograph is part of a series created on a secluded tropical island during the pandemic, where I lived and worked with movement-improviser friends in deep connection with the natural landscape. The series captures spontaneous, body-based interactions with nature — moments where human presence blends, dissolves, and reconfigures into new forms.

Through careful framing and a cinematic approach to light, these improvised gestures become atmospheric scenes marked by mystery, fluidity, and a primal sense of being. The Baroque dark aesthetic reflects both the intimacy of isolation and the surreal uncertainty of the time.
